You can't work. They won't pay. We'll handle it.
That's what we do. The team at Evergreen Disability Law focus their practice on disability benefits and other forms of employee benefits.
What We've Achieved
Thousands of Social Security disability claims approved (not accepting new Social Security clients).
Obtained judgment in federal court that disability insurer was wrong to deny benefits to a man with chemotherapy-related "brain fog." Keegan v. MetLife
Obtained immediate award of benefits in federal court after insurer relied on non-examining file reviewers to deny disability claim, rejecting claimant’s reports of chronic pain. Stephens v. Standard Insurance Company
Hundreds of ERISA Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability claims approved or settled.
Obtained judgment in federal court that a murdered pharmacist's family should get life insurance benefits, despite insurer claiming she was ineligible for coverage. Rainey v. Community Health Systems
Successfully defended against a defendant’s motion to dismiss in a case seeking health insurance coverage for a cardiac surgery after insurer failed to explain the total charges the insured would be responsible for. Brandon v. Health Net Health Plan of Oregon
FEes
Typically, we handle cases on a contingency fee basis, meaning that you do not pay anything up front, and you do not pay any fees at all unless we are successful in helping you obtain at least some of your benefits. If we can do that, we will charge you a percentage of those benefits we helped you get. The percentage we charge varies between our different types of cases, with fees in certain types of cases being regulated by law.
Hourly rates and flat fees are also available, when appropriate for the circumstances. We will always be happy to answer any questions you have about our fees at a free initial consultation.
